SUITS
بالعربي
The series “Suits” in Arabic is an Egyptian series that was shown in the month of Ramadan, April 2, 2022. It is the Egyptian version of the legal drama series of the same name, which is American and has achieved great success over nine years from 2011 to 2019. The Arabic version is directed by Essam Abdel Hamid and produced by TV Vision, produced by Tariq Al-Janaini, script and dialogue by Mohamed Hefzy and Yasser Abdel Majid, starring a group of stars, most notably Aser Yassin, Ahmed Daoud, Reem Mustafa, Saba Mubarak, Tara Emad, Mohamed Shaheen, and the events of the series revolve behind the scenes of the legal world and cases, through 6 Key figures in a large law firm.
featuring 6 characters: Zain Thabet (Asser Yassin), Adam Mansour (Ahmed Daoud), Farida Al-Mesiri (Saba Mubarak), Camelia Ashraf (Reem Mostafa), Laila Radwan (Tara Emad), Qadri Al-Zayat (Mohamed Shaheen), in addition to Asmaa Jalal, Mustafa Darwish, Hoda Al-Mufti, Khaled Kamal, Salma Abu Deif, Laila Hussein, Sarah Abdel Rahman, Malak Badawi and a number of other artists. Each one of them has different and distinctive features from the other, and the events reveal the nature of the role of each one of them within the office
The actress and guest of the series, Huda Al-Mufti, turned into a trend
on the Twitter platform because of her strong role in the series, and the way
she addressed an important and influential issue on Egyptian society, such as
the issue of harassment. Huda Al-Mufti played the role of a widow who was
forced to work after the death of her husband, but her employer physically
assaulted her during working hours, and when she filed a complaint against him,
she was fired. Huda Al-Mufti turns to the office
of Zain ( Aser Yassin) and his assistant Adam (Ahmed Daoud), and indeed
the two lawyers succeed in compensating her for the crimes of the harasser and
revenge for her. Not being able to solve this case, Zain and Thabet went to a
nightclub, in which they tried to flirt with two girls, but they did not
respond to them and directed their guards who beat them profitably, so that
Zain took advantage of an injury to postpone the girl's case.
Most of those who watched the series "Suits" in its American version believed that half of the series' attractiveness depends on the charisma of its hero, Harvey Specter (Gabriel ); He is the knight of women's dreams, and a man who men wish to live his life and the other half, the character of Donna (Sarah Rafferty), Harvey Specter's secretary who is not missing anything, and although she has not studied law, she has the cunning to make her assume the behavior of those around her.
The author, Mohamed Hefzy, tried to treat the character of the "Suits"
hero in his American version, in a way that suits Egyptian society. We find
that Zayn does not drink alcohol and does not play poker, but rather prefers
chess, very different from the character of Harvey Specter, who is addicted to
both. At the same time, we discover that Zain is a womanizer, just like Harvey,
who has multiple women's relationships outside of marriage, which may put
followers of the American and Egyptian works confused as to why the author
chose to adhere to Egyptian values at one point and ignore them at another.
